You’ve been a member of this beautiful community for much longer than you probably realize – ever since you had an idea for a STEM project, embraced that curiosity and started asking ‘why?’

The purpleSTEMwave is a call to action for Canada’s youth to apply their natural curiosity and ingenuity to investigate scientific questions and develop innovative solutions to current and future challenges. It’s a community which celebrates and unites every young Canadian who asks ‘how’ and ‘why’ and transforms those powerful questions into action – in the form of a STEM project – and that’s you!

While the purpleSTEMwave is much more than just CWSF, Canada-Wide Science Fair is an exciting event showcasing the best STEM projects from Canada’s youth – so you know we’ll be posting about it!

Throughout the week, we will post updates, photos, and videos on our social media accounts to keep you up to date with everything happening at the event. You can follow us on:

We encourage you to share your own experiences on social media as well. Use the hashtag #CWSF2025 to connect with other students, showcase your projects, and highlight the amazing things you’re learning and discovering.

In addition to social media, we also have a Discord server where you can connect with other students interested in STEM and attending the Canada-Wide Science Fair. This is a great way to meet new people, share your experiences, and learn from others.

We encourage you to get involved and participate in the online conversation. It’s an excellent opportunity to showcase your passion for STEM and connect with others who share your interests.
