Energy Generation for Urban Spaces: Harnessing the Power of Our Roads
Project #6201
An investigation into various energy-converting systems involving mechanical gears, flywheels, and turbines. Focusing on the energy output, or the process of transforming motion into electrical energy, within an urban setting. This project aims to simulate the force of a car driving over a speed bump, testing which system could generate the most amount of energy. The goal was to diversify our energy production, exploring clean, sustainable, and creative electricity generation methods. Findings could help us power our local communities, including street lights and nearby buildings, allowing us to save energy.
